AIM is excited to increase access to healthy, fresh food through FoodShare Anderson, a branch of FoodShare South Carolina. Fresh Food Boxes are filled with 9 to 11 varieties of fresh fruits and vegetables. With the contents changing weekly, it's an affordable and exciting way to eat healthy food.
Bulk buying at wholesale prices makes our boxes more affordable than buying produce at retail stores.
Please place your orders by the Wednesday before and they will be ready for pick-up 9am-4pm the following Wednesday (Calendar below).
Check our social media and website for updates as we grow this new program! (Boxes are $20, AIM has added a $1 Buffer to cover any payment fees).
SNAP recipients willing to go through Employment Pathways call for further information and to make an appointment. Must be able to verify eligibility.
How It All Works
- • FoodShare Anderson is a program that supports a healthy lifestyle for our Anderson County residents by offering a Fresh Food Box filled with a variety of 9-11 fruits and vegetables at wholesale prices.
- • Contents change every two weeks based on in season produce availability and best pricing.
- • Becoming a FoodShare participant is open to anyone. There are no income requirements.
- • Boxes are pre-ordered, and contents are unknown at time of purchase. This allows bulk buying through our local produce supplier and ensures we receive the best available wholesale prices.
- • All program participants are asked to complete a New Participant Form. This information is kept confidential and information is used for program assessments and funding purposes.
- • Participants may choose to pick-up boxes at whichever site is most convenient. Make sure FoodShare staff are informed of your preference.
- • Boxes not picked-up during pick-up times will be donated within our community.
SNAP Clients
- You may order as many boxes as you want! The only exception is for those purchasing with a SNAP/EBT Card which limits purchases to no more than 2 boxes a day.
- SNAP online purchases can only be made after completing a New Participant Form. After we receive your completed information, you will receive an email invite to set up your account. You will need to set-up your account up within 48 hours of your email invitation.
